As long as I can remember, I loved playing with hair. I am drawn to the simple idea that everyone can look beautiful with the right cut and color. Hair, done well, can be your greatest asset. My passion is to work with each one of my clients to make sure their hair not only complements their lifestyle but accents their personality...

I started my career in the beauty industry as a teen at a local salon in my home town of Red Wing, Minnesota.  My job was simple:  I answered phones, folded gowns and towels, sold retail and swept hair.  All the while I was taking it in.

As a young woman I awoke to the artistry of this profession: the precision, the shapes, the colors, and the transformative beauty of the perfect haircut.  I set off on a training path that took me all over the world.  I started my education at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, MN and advanced my skills at Vidal Sassoon in Toronto and at Aveda’s Advanced Academies in London and New York.  Since then,  I have had countless opportunities to learn from and work alongside the most talented and respected artists in the industry.

I have had many adventures along the way: working advertising and editorial photo shoots as well as backstage at countless fashion and hair shows.  I have styled hair for weddings all over, including in Italy and France.  For years, I worked as a teacher at an advanced hair academy.  My specialties were bob haircuts and curly hair.  Please, don’t peg me as “the bob girl!”  My skills are wide-ranging both in cutting and coloring.

My favorite place is right here behind the chair. I have the best clients in the world: moms, models, grandmas, teens, men and kids. It is like being at the center of the village square hearing everyone’s stories and seeing them re-entering the world looking gorgeous and feeling better about themselves.
